Kent: First innings, 166 (.Woolley 71: Clay. 5 for 64); second innings, 104 (Clay 6 for 46). Glamorgan won by 68 runs. Hampshire v. Middlesex.—Hampshire: First innings. 263 (McCorkell 86). Middlesex: First innings. 0 for 5. The match was drawn. Notts v. Leicester.—Notts: First innings. 9 tor 452 declared (Harris 94 ; Gunn 184), The match was drawn. Northants v. Lancashire.—Northants: First innings. 119 (Pollard 6 for 42); second innings. 174. Lancashire: First innings. 116 (Buswell 7 for 61); second innings. 3 for 178 tOklfield 72 not out). Kin,i;' Rod was sent over four of the steeplechase fences on the flat, and afterwards repeated the performance. His efforts ciearly showed that he has losl none of his jumping ability.
