LONDON, July 8. ri'HK AIR MINISTRY ANNOUNCES A SECRET RECORD NON-STOP FORMATION FLIGHT BY FOUR AIR FORCE VICKERS-WELLESLEY MACHINES, FROM CRANWELL TO ISMALLA, A DISTANCE OF 4800 MILES. THE FLIGHT WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN 3)2 HOURS. AT AN AVERAGE GROUND SPEED OF 135 MILES AN HOUR. The first news of the flight was given out after the landing at Ismalia. The formation left Cranwell at 4.15 a.m. (British summertime) on Thursday ami landed at 12.10 (British summertime) on Friday. The 'planes flow to a point between Kovvcit and Bahrein, thence westward to Ismalia. at an average height of 10.000 feet. Good conditions were experienced throughout the flight, and its progress was reported regularly by wireless. There was also continual communication between the aeroplanes.
