Comings And Goings

Mrs H. B. Sloano, of Whangarei, is on a visit to Auckland. Mrs E. Hope has returned to Huntly after visiting friends in Whangarei. Misses Gladys and Zelda Keene, of Norfolk Street, have returned from a brief visit to Auckland. An enjoyable social evening was spent on Monday by members of the Methodist Girl's Club. Games and competitions occupied the major part of the evening, followed by a sumptuous supper. The election of officers resulted: —Leader. Mrs H. J, Tozer; sub-leader. Miss Vera Hirons; secreimy and treasurer. Miss F. Thomas. A number of novel evenings have been arranged for subsequent club nights.
