Successful Clearing Sale
Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons Limited report holding a most successful clearing sale on account of Mir. A. A. Edge at Maungakaramea on Thursday. Prices were very steady throughout, and the realisation for the herd of 40 coavs was:—Best cows, close up, £lO/5/- to £1272/6; good cows, £B/17/6 to £9/10/-;' more backward, £6/10/- to £B. Other cows penned sold at from £4/5/- to £6/5/-; twoyear heifers, £5/12/6; young bulls, £4/10'- to £5.
