Delivered Rifle Without Permit

Pleading guilty to a charge of having delivered possession of a firearm to a person not entitled by law to receive same. Harold Ernest Parkes was fined 10 - with 10 - costs before Mr G. N. Morris. S.M.. in the Police Court tliis morning. Wilfred Robinson admitted having received the firearm, without a permit, and was fined a similar amount, with costs 10 Senior-Sergeant Finch staled that defendants apparently did not realise the seriousness of the charges, for which a penalty of £IOO with a term of imprisonment could be inflicted. No order was made for the retention cl the firearm, a .22 rifle.
