Bishop Of Wakefield
OBITUARY
(Received 8.30 a.m.) RUGBY, May 27. The death has occurred of the Bishop of Wakefield, Dr. James E. Seaton. Dr. Seaton was appointed Bishop of Wakefield, in August, 1938. He was born in 1868 and was educated at Leeds Grammar School and at Christ Church, Oxford. In 1909 he was appointed Archdeacon of Johannesburg in South Africa. Five years later he returned to England, and was appointed principal of Cuddesdon Theological College.
