Cruising Club Seeks Site for Clubhouse
Writing to the Whangarei Harbour Board at its annual meeting yesterday, the Whangarei Cruising Club requested the board’s consideration o i an application for the lease of a site suitable for the erection of a clubhouse. It was stated that the club intended erecting a new clubhouse, to cost £IOOO, but progress was dependent on a site being found. Mr E. L. Whimp suggested that the board discuss the matter with the. club. The board agreed on this step being taken.
