Kaimiro Expected To Sail
[Special To “Northern Advocate”l AUCKLAND This Day. After being idle at Auckland for more than a week following a dispute between the crew and the owners, the Union Company’s steamer Kaimiro was expected to sail for Wellington this afternoon. The dispute was the result of the dismissal of a fireman on May 15 on the voyage from Wellington to Auckland. When the remainder of the crew refused to put to sea for Westport without the fireman, the company paid off the ship.
