Gaol for Drunken Motorist
[Per Press Association. —Copyright.'] AUCKLAND. This Day. ‘T am inclined to think that since I have been imposing terms of imprisonment, the number of these
offences had decreased,’’ said Mr C. R. Crr-Walker, in the Police Court today when sentencing Edward
Thomas Tate, traveller, 54. to three years' imprisonment for intoxication while in charge of a car. His license was cancelled for two years.
