Arrangements For Saturday’s Big Football
So that they can control their own selection, Mr J. Wood (country) and Mr C. J. Malloy it own) were appointed manager of their respective teams for Saturday’s match by the Whangarei Rugby Union last night.
In connection with the old footballers’ dinner, which will be held in the Whangarei Hotel on the evening of the old-timers’ match, the secretary reported that all ari-angements had been finalised, and that it was expected that.between 40 and 50 would be present. Owing to the length of the programme for Saturday afternoon, junior playei's are requested to note that two games commence at 1 p.m.
