Dr. Greibl May Stay In Germany
(Received noon.) NEW YORK, May 24. A report received from Bremerhaven states that Dr. Griebl, who was arrested in Germany after his arrival from New York, was fined 60 marks (approximately £5) for a violation of the transport regulations, and was released. He will be permitted to remain in Germany and practice medicine. Thisapparently ends the hope of his deportation back to America to give evidence, which was thought to be of major importance in the forthcoming great espionage trial.
