Subpoena Served On Coogan’s Mother

HOLLYWOOD, April 16.
The court issued an order authorising the sheriff to enter the home of Mrs Bernstein, and subpoena her to make a deposition in connection with Jackie Coogan's suit for the recovery of money alleged to belong to mm.
The process service yesterday could not gain an entrance, the maid saying her mistress was away at Palm Springs, but they said they saw theBernsteins in the house.
Two deputies, when the unlocked door was not answered, entered the house and found the couple in a bedroom dressing for dinner. They served the papers on them, the Bernsteins insisting that they had not, heard th.e bell.
