A former member of the Ziegfeld Follies. Mrs Alica Cook, is sueirtg her husband, the film actor. Clyde Cook, for divorce, alleging that he drank to excess and choked and beat her, also that he was selfish and arrogant. Cook, in a cross-complaint, alleges that Alica drank too much, after which she imagined events which were not occurring.

Both parties asked for the custody of their daughter, Julia Ann, aged 9. The wife demands 400 dollars a month alimony, also the division of property valued at 168,000 dollars. The hearing of the case is to be continued on Monday. (
