Large Attendances At Christ Church
There were large attendances over Easter at Anglican services in Christ Church, Whangarei. Yesterday there were 326 communicants, including 45 at Maunu. A new processional cross, presented by the vicar, the Rev. H. T. Steele, was dedicated at the 7 a.m. service and used during the services that followed. *
On Good Friday there were also large attendances. The Fiery Cross was set up in the church from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and continual intercession was maintained throughout the day.
