The track was in excellent order, and there was a record attendance. Results:— Trial Handicap, of. 175 sovs.; six furlongs.—(.9-8) Straight Del, 1; (6-4) Sheeny, 2: (2-3) Waitoru, 3. Scr.; Valantua. A neck: a head. Time; 1.14 1-5. Waiau Steeplechase, of 200 sovs.; about two miles.—(l-1) Burwood, 9.11, 1; (2-2) Royston, 9.12, 2; (5-4) Ballyfcrit, 9.0, 3. Eight lengths; two lengths. Time: 4.13 1-5. Apirama Handicap, of 300 sovs; six furlcngs.— (6-6) Rodeur 1, (2-2) Viking 2, (1-1) Valmarch 3. A neck each way. Time, 1.13 2-5.
