EASTER HOLIDAY, 1938. The following hours of attendance will be observed during the holiday season:— Postal Branch. Easter Saturday. 16th April—Correspondence usually delivered by Postmen may be obtained at the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Easter Monday, 18th April.—Closed in all branches. Mails for Auckland and southern offices, also Kamo. Hikurangi, Portland and Whangaroa. will close at 8 a.m. <A clearance of street receivers will be made at 7 a.m.)
Saturday. 23rd April.—Correspondence usually delivered by Postmen may be obtained at the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Anzac Day. 25th April.—Closed in all branches. Telegraph Branch. Good Friday. 15th April. Easier Monday, 18th April, and Anzac Day, 25th April.—Closed all day. Telephone Exchange. Open continuously.
