Novel Bowling Tourney

Bowlers—and non-bowlers—came to the aid of the Sports Queen at' the week-end, when a bowlers and nonbowlers contest was staged. The match was one of considerable interest, the finalists being Lomas and C. Meyer (non-bowlers), Edmondson and Johnson (bowlers), who beat Lawson and Platt (non-bowlers), Speirs and Westwell (bowlers), by five points to three. The ladies’ committee of the Sports Queen provided an excellent afternoon tea. Proceeds from the effort went to the Sports Queen,. Miss Thelma Adams.
