Election Arrests In Egypt

Four hundred arrests were made throughout Egypt on the eve of the elections, mostly members of the dissolved Blue Shirt organisation. The; former Wafa Prime Minister, Nahas Pasha, accuses the Government of using terrorism and intimidation to secure the defeat of the Wafdists.
