On Monday evening a meeting of National Party friends and supporters was held in the Fairburn Public HalL The chair was occupied by Mr J. W. Hoskin, who introduced Mr P. branches and enrol members. It was intended, it possible, ic enrol 2000 members in each electorate in tire Dominion. and the candidate would then be selected for each constituency. The sp-eaku. made a spirited attack cn the Labour Administration, main* teining that taxation had been increased. that the cost of living had been raised and that the guaranteed mice had not benefited the dairy farmer. At the conclusion of -his address a branch of the National Party was
