[Special To "Northern A.dvocate'’] HAMILTON. Tliis Day. There was a full yarding of sheep, with late rates ruling for prime quality lots at the Frankton stock sale yesterday. With the exception of ox beef, there was a full entry of all classes of cattle. Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report:— Cattle. —Light ox, prime, £9 10/- to £lO 10/'-; two-year beef, unfinished, £7 10/- to £8 13/-; prime young cows and heifers, £7 15/- to £8 5/-; cow beef, heavy. £6 to £6 15/-; twoyear Hereford steers, £G 7/-; yearling steers, £2 8/-; yearling heifers, Hereford, £3 3/-, . Sheep.—Heavy > prime wethers. 28/to 39/9; prime ewes, 16/9 to 18/6; prime lambs, best. £1 3/3; good quality. 18/6 to 21/-. Pigs.—Topweight baconers. £4 to £4 3/-; light, £2 15/- to £3; prime heavy porkers. £2 10/- to £2 15/-; light, 25/- to 30/-; prime heavy choppers, £3 to £3' 18/-; medium," £2 to £3; good store pigs, 20/- to 24/-; good slips, 12/- to 16/-; good weaners. 8/to 12/-.
