EXPLOSION DENIED. Reports of a mysterious explosion, stated to have caused damage to’the factory of Messrs. Thompson and Hills, Ltd., fruit preservers, Auckland, last evening, are denied by the police, who S'tate that there is no sign of an explosion, nor any evidence of damage. Broken glass found scattered over the roofing was from windows that had been repaired several months ago.
