INTER-COLLEGE CRICKET, SHOOTING, SWIMMING

Cricket, shooting and swimming matches between the Whangarei High School and Mt. Albert Grammar School will be hold this week. These contests arc held annually, this year being Mu Albert's turn to visit Whangarei. The visitors will arrive by the express on Wednesday and the cricket match will be commenced the same afternoon at 3.30 o'clock, continuing until 5. The swimming will be held on Thursday morning at 9.30 at the Primary School Baths, and the cricket match will be resumed at 10, adjourning at noon and commencing again at 1.30 and continuing until a p.m. The shooting contest will be held at : the Wharoora Range on Friday morning at 9 o'clock, and the boys will leave for Auckland by the noon express.
