The Niemoller Trial
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, February 14,
The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says there were denials from pulpits yesterday that Pastor Niemoller and his counsel had disagreed, necessitating an adjournment of his trial.
The impossible conditions the court laid down, to which the counsel nominated by tlra court also refused to subscribe, led to a fresh attempt to induce ihe original counsel to resume his brief and rescue the proceedings becoming a farce and the prosecution from public embarrassment.
