I Another heat of the 18-footers’ sailling race for the championship of the i world was sailed to-day on the harI hour, some boats having to shelter 1 during the heavy storm. Taree (New | South Wales) won from the Queensland boat Aberdare. with the .New ; Zealander, Irina, third, j Taree, with 510 points, in spite of i the fact that there is another heat on i Saturday, cannot be beaten by Abor- ' dare, which has 254 points. Thus, Taree j wins the championship. | Irina has 78 points, j The other New Zealanders finished ! well in the rear, Riptide making the , best showing.
