“The Australian Government recently uncovered / an extensive Japanese espionage system in the Dominions, but publicity was not given the matter. Likewise, movements of Japanese naval units operating near Australian waters received no mention,” says the magazine, “News of the Week.” It adds: “Plans for joint operations in the Pacific by Britain and America are more advanced than the public has been told.”
