Mr Parry’s Important Talks At Sydney
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 27. Advantage of the visit of a number of Federal Ministers to Sydney for the anniversary celebrations has been taken by the Hon. W. E. Parry, New Zealand Minister of Internal Affairs, to discuss with them matters of international importance. Several conferences have also occurred between Mr Parry and New South Wales Ministers;, as well as Ministers of other States. Mr Parry said he had been met by a general readiness to co-operate, but larger questions could not be discussed until the conclusion of the chief festivities. Mr Parry visited the village and met the New Zealand Empire Gamls team yesterday afternoon. He spent some time with them and learned that they were perfectly comfortable. Happy speeches were made, in which good wishes were exchanged with the team and its managers.
