CANBERRA, This Day, The Federal Statistician announced that the grand total of taxation collections in Australia during the financial year 1936-37 reached a new record level of £108,303,392. This did not include municipal or water and sewerage taxes. Taxation per head was £ls 18/4, nearly 9/mcrc than the average of the previous year, and the highest ever reached in Australia.
