The butter market in London is quiet. New Zealand choicest salted is being sold at 108/- per cwt., Australian i t 106/- to 107/-, unsalted New Zealand at 112/- and unsalted Australian at 111/-.
The latest quotation is the equivalent of 12.90 d per lb. f.o.b. New Zealand ports, compared with the guaranteed price of 13.25 d. This represents the lowest London quotation for the current season, although 12 months ago the price was 90/-,
