Mrs J. McCullough, of Takahue. has returned after a holiday in Auckland. Miss E. Steel, of Auckland, has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. Crene. Mr M. Howell has been at Ngaruawahia to compete in the Maori tennis tournament.
Mr A. Wright returned on Monday from Auckland.
Mr S. Powell leaves on Tuesday for Auckland.
Miss Edwards, who has been visiting her mother, has returned to Auckland. Mr Ivan Wright is holidaying in Auckland. Tennis. The Diggers’ Valley tennis team and the Takanue team had a very close match at Takahue on Saturday last. The sets were even, 12 all, and Takahue won on games by 125 games to 119.
