JUDGE PREVENTS FIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD COURT

(Received 2 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, January 11. Robert Taylor’s name was injected with litigation between Barbara Stanwyck and Frank Fay for the custody of their adopted son, Dion Anthony, aged six. Barbara Stanwyck, in cross-examin-ation, testified that Taylor, whose name was often linked romantically with hers, was a frequent visitor to her home and played with the boy, but denied that his visits were motivated by a desire to accustom the child to Taylor, or that they constituted a reason why she did not permit Fay to visit their son.

The hearing wag marked by bitter disputes. The judge was once forced to intervene to prevent a fight between the attorneys.
