ONLY ONE APPLICATION FOR HOSPITAL POST

Only one application has been received by the Whangarei Hospital Board for the position of AssistantMedical Superintendent to replace Dr. Dawson.

Mr F. Higginson felt that no move should be made in an appointment without, reference to the Medical Superintendent. Mrs V. Donaldson suggested that the matter might be dealt with by the house committee after being referred to Dr. Hall. “By the 20th the house committee should be in a position to make a decision,” said Mr F. Elliott, and moved that the matter be left in the hands of the committee. This course was followed.

As yet. no applications for the position of tutor sister have been received and this question, too, will be dealt with by the committee.
