Portion Of Old People’s Home Property For Sale

x\ decision to have certain property attached to the Old People's Home valued was made at yesterday’s meeting of the Whangarei Hospital Board. In reply to a question by Mr A. Clarke., the chairman, Mr J. A. S, Mac Kay, said that all ground suitable for possible extension of the hospital was being retained. Mr Elliott remarked that the ground under discussion would be suitable for building sites.

It is possible that the land under discussion will be either exchanged for a property owned by Mr Shipman, or offered for sale to the Government. The whole matter will be referred back to the board after the valuation is ascertained.
