MR. TREMAINE BUYS AXMINSTER
It is the ambition of Mr E. S. .1 rnaine, of Ruatangata, to win both Auckland Cup and the,. New ZeaL Trotting Cup, and he believes that, Tooley Street and Axminster, he the horses that will do it for him. Tooley Street won the Easter Har cap last year and is at present in A tralia. He was nominated for the IV bourne Cup, but had to withdraw < ing to an injured knee. Latest repc are, however, that Tooley Street' niaking good progress. * ■ Mr Tremaine has just bought I minster (Eyre—True Ring), and p £7OO for this two-year-old, which t bred by Mr J. Paul, of Mangere, Paul will continue to train him. The new owner feels that is a coming horse and will enable li lo realise his ambition.
