Palmerston NorthWanganui Air Service

The Palmerston North-Wangai air service, commencing on January will be used for the despatch of mails.

The postage rates for letters a parcels will be the same as for t existing air mail services. The plane departs from Palmerstj North at 10.45 a.m. and arrives at We ganul at 11.15 a.m., leaves Wangar at noon and arrives at Palmerst North at 12.30 p.m. Correspondence despatched on t first day will be back-stamped at We ganui and correspondence from We ganui by the first flight will be bac stamped at the office of destination! the mail. Correspondence may be -f< warded under cover to the Chief Po masters, Palmerston North or Wj ganui.

Letters cannot make the return journey the same day. Mail for the first flight will close the Whangarei Post Office at 2,15 p: Saturday, December 8.
