Hukatere

A dance was hold in the Hukatere Hail on New Year’s Eve. Music was played by Frank Carter’s orchestra. A lucky spot waits was won by Miss ■Parker and Mr Watkins, while the winners of the Monte Carlo were Mr and Mrs Coates, Supper was served by the committee.

Upon the last stroke of mid-nigh't, the whole company joined hands and sang “Auld Lang Syne.”
