Moerewa

Mr and Mrs P. Ellis have returned to Moerewa after holidaying in Auckland. where Mrs Ellis visited her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Wiggins, of Point Chevalier.

Mr E. Overton, of Donnelly’s Crossing, and late of Moerewa, was a visitor here during Christmas week. Mr Overton is on annual leave and is visiting Mr and Mrs Overton Senr., of Auckland, who are well known here, having been among the early residents. Mr A. Fcarnlcy, of Pembroke Street, who along with Mrs Fearnley and their young son, spent some ten days among relatives and friends in Auckland and Otahuhu, has returned to take up duty at the local works of the A.F.F. Co.

Mr Pai Heta, who recently had his upper left arm badly fractured, is still incapacitated and has to return to hospital for further treatment. Mrs Snowden Senr., has returned after spending en enjoyable holiday at Russell. She was accompanied by her grand-daughter, Joy Nesbit, and little Pauline Blomfield, of Russell.
