Woman’s Death Fall From Train

Falling from a train while passing over the Waitete Viaduct, three miles south of Te Kuiti. Mrs Helen Augusta Stubbingtcn, aged 34, a married woman of Manunui, who was travelling with her husband, was killed. It was stated by Mr Stubbingtcn that he left the carriage for a few minutes and when he returned he found that his wife had fallen from the train. She died shortly after admission to the Te Kuiti Hospital.

After evidence of identification had been heard, an inquest, which was opened yesterday, was adjourned.
