AUCKLAND. This Day,

On her second return trip across the Pacific the Pan-American Airways’ Samoan Clipper rose impressively into the air at 3 a.m. yesterday from the harbour. She arrived at Pago Pago at 3.35 p.m, yesterday, New Zealand time, thus taking 12 hours 35 minutes for the flight. When the Clipper left Auckland she had 3731 b of Jiir mail and between 71b and 31b of express freight to carry to the United States.
