NvS.W. Follow-On Against Victoria (Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE. December 28. In the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, New South Wales, in their first innings, made 184 runs (Fingleton SS, McCabe 16, Barnes 14, Chipperfield 36, Crossman, not out, 35). FleetwoodSmith took six wickets for 94. New South Wales followed on, and in their second innings lost four wickets for 100 (Fingleton, not out, 22, Barnes, not out, 28). In the Sheffield Shield match against Queensland, South Australia, in their first innings, lost eight wickets for 429 runs, declared. Dixon took three wickets for 130. Queensland, in their second innings, lost six wickets for 330 (W. Brown 132, Rogers, not out, 117).
