’ There was an attendance of 41.500 at the opening day of the Auckland Lacing Club’s summer meeting at E'lgtsllo yesterday. The surprise of '.he day was the victory of The Buzzer in the Auckland Cup, although tne dividend was not much larger than that returned by Gold'Vaals in the preceding event. The totalisator investments increased by £12,043/10/ to £114.841/10/. Concluding results:—
