[Special To “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr David Bebe Ready, who resided at Papatoetoe, was knocked down on the main road at Papakura on .Saturday morning by a car driven by Mr G. K. Leeson, of Te Aroha. and died almost immediately. j The accident occurred at 1.30 o’clock in front of the police station. Mr Ready was crossing the road when lie was struck, the car passing over the lower portion of his body, fracturing both legs.
The police are endeavouring to communicate with relatives for identifica-
tion purpose?,
