Clipper planes will become familiar figures to the people living along the coast from Russell south.

Holiday-makers on coastal j beaches yesterday saw and heard i the Clipper roar overhead on her j way to Auckland yesterday after- i noon.

Those at Waipu Cove and Lang’s Beach had a good view of the giant plane as she flew past. She was high up, but her size and graceful lines were plainly seen.
