Mrs Annie Telfer Celebrates 93rd Birthday

Mrs Annie Teller, of Whangarei, one of the oldest residents of Noi'thland. celebrated her 93rd birthday last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs W. Burch, Onerahi.

Mrs Telfer was born in Auckland and came later to Parua Bay, becoming .very well acquainted with the Maoris there.

She married Mr John Telfer, a farmer, of Parua Bay, and when Mr Telfer died about 51 years ago Mrs Telfer carried on the farm with the assistance of her family. Ten years ago she left Parua Bay and has since been living with friends in Whangarei.
