(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON. December 25. Fine gold is quoted today at £G 19/7-A an ounce, compared with £G 19/8 yesterday,. Silver was quoted yesterday at 181 d an ounce spot and 18 5-16 d forward, compared with 18 11-16 d and 181 d on Wednesday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce yesterday was 19 15-16 d, compared with 20 3-16 d on Wednesday.
