U.S. Tax Load Near Danger Point

A special committee of the United State Chamber cf Commerce has announced that the nation's .1938 tax load may reach a record of 13.500.000,000 dollars, or 20 per cent of the national, income. It asserts that- this ratio is a danger signal, and recommends the United States to overhaul its lax laws, 'n process. in which the Federal Government is at present engaged. It is estimated that the Federal taxes will total 0,400,000,000 dollars, and State divisions 7,100,000,000.
