Stalin Received A 100 Per Cent. Poll
(Received 11 a.m.) MOSCOW. December 13
It is claimed that every eligible person, except those bed-ridden, voted at Moscow’s 1400 polling stations. Stalin received a 100 per cent. poll. Similar results are expected throughout the Soviet. The polling closed at midnight, when the counting of votes began.
Preliminary figures indicate a 95 per cent, poll throughout the country. A Stakhanovite factory hand, K. Golubeff. was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment and five years disfranchisement for pre-election counterrevolutionary propaganda and making a noise and swearing at a candidate.
