Death Of Well-Known Businessman
A well-known Whangarei business* man. Mr. Colin Carr, partner in the firm of Carr Brothers, garage proprietors, died under tragic circumstances last night. Shortly after 7 oclock he was found in a car in the garage wih a wound in the head. There was a rifle beside the body.
Dr. H. F. Buckley was immediately summoned and Mr. Carr was admitted to a private hospital, where he died a few minutes after admission.
Deceased, who was born in Australia, ?2 years ago, had been in New Zealand for about 22 years. He is survived by a widow and two young children. • An inquest was opened this morning before the District Coroner, Mr G. H. Morrish, and was adjourned sige die.
