For the first day of the Woodvillc District Jockey Club’s meeting- on Saturday the sky was overcast, with light rain falling in the latter part of the day. There was a large attendance. and the track was in excellent order.
The totalisator handled £15.017/10/. Last year the total was £ 11,240/10/, the day's increase being £3,777. Concluding results: —
