Kaitaia D.H. School Affairs
The Kaitaia District High School Committee has decided, now that the town water supply will shortly be available, to take up with the education board the matter of swimming baths for the school. The board is also to be requested to either completely renovate the head teacher’s residence or provide a new building. Further representations are to be made with a view to the establishment of a manual training centre at Kaitaia,
The number on the school roll for the primary division is now 2T71 and for the secondary division 61, the average attendances being 246 and 56 respectively.
