Woman Killed When Cars Collide
F Special To "Northern Adrmcnte"' l WANGANUI, This Day.
A fatal motor accident occurred on the Utiku-Mang'aweka Road about one and a half miles from Utiku at about 5 p.rn. on Saturday, when two cars collided on a bend, one vehicle going over a 40-fool bank.
Mrs Rose Ella Liddicoat. aged 35, wife of Mr C. P. Liddicoat, of Mangaweka. suffered severe head injuries and died before an ambulance arrived.
Mrs Eileen Henderson, aged 38, of Mangaweka, was unconscious when removed to hospital. Her condition is serious.
